SUMMARY:Little Learning Farmers
DESCRIPTION:Little Learning Farmers is a child-and-adult activity session and is perfect for parents\, grandparents\, aunts\, uncles\, and their Little Farmer(s) to enjoy a fun and educational morning on the farm. \nThis program content is ideal for preschool and kindergarten-age children\, however\, siblings and children of any age may participate.  \n\nLittle Learning Farmers is held on Tuesdays from 9:30-11:00 AM unless otherwise noted\nAll sessions will include a light snack for each registered child. Snack items will be individually wrapped (ex. juice box and snack pack pretzels)\nSome sessions will include a take-home craft project\nAll sessions will be held outdoors and social distancing is required. Masks/face coverings are required for all adults and recommended for children over the age of 2 years.\nChildren must have adult supervision at all times. Thank you for understanding that this is is not a ‘drop-off event.’ \nPlease bring a picnic blanket or lawn chairs for outdoor seating\nPlease dress for the weather. Sunblock\, closed-toed shoes that can get dirty and a sunhat are always a good idea.\nEvents are rain or shine. Sometimes Mother Nature does not cooperate with our plans. In the event of rain or thunderstorms\, Donaldson Farms may cancel or reschedule the event. Your registration fee will be refunded if rescheduling is not an option.\nRegistration and payment are required prior to the event. They help people with intellectual and other developmental disabilities live a good life. They assist families to solve challenges associated with the lifelong care of their family members. DESCRIPTION:It’s all about strawberries in the spring – ripe\, juicy\, mouth-watering strawberries! Join us for our Strawberry Harvest Weekends at Donaldson Farms in Hackettstown\, NJ. (Exact dates dependent on weather and growing conditions.) \nStrawberry Harvest Highlights\n\nPick Your Own Strawberries\nCost: No entry fee. Activities and food are priced separately. PYO strawberries are priced by the pound. Pint containers and cardboard flats are available for purchase.\nDelicious\, farm fresh foods are available from our Food Shack are available 12pm – 4pm\nDuck Races\nFarm Animals – meet Wallace and Grommet our silly and friendly goats!\nLarge Children’s Sandbox play area (situated under a large shade tree)\nStrawberry Season Facebook Photo Contest\n\nBe sure to visit our Farm Market while you’re here.
