Lisa is a former forensic scientist with the New York City Office of Chief Medical Examiner’s Department of Forensic Biology\, the largest laboratory of its kind in North America. During her tenure\, she investigated thousands of homicides\, sexual assaults\, and missing persons cases\, and was a supervisor of victim identification for the World Trade Center attack\, the most complicated forensic investigation in the history of the United States. Lisa has testified as an Expert Witness in Forensic Biology and DNA Analysis in the criminal justice systems of the City of New York and has earned the certifications of ASCLD-LAB Inspector and FBI DNA Auditor. She was presented with NYPD’s Centurion Award and the Honor Legion’s Certificate of Merit for her contributions on a high-profile serial killer case. In addition to a handful of fabulous food trucks\, join us for fresh crisp Apple Picking\, and be the first to take an adventure in our ‘Back to the Future’ inspired Corn Maze! $1 per entry is donated to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research. Thank you!

DESCRIPTION:Fall is the perfect time to visit Donaldson Farms to enjoy apple and pumpkin picking and corn maze\, hayrides\, corn cannon\, fresh-cooked food\, apple cider samples\, and more! \nDATES: Saturdays and Sundays 11am – 5pm September 28th – October 31st and Columbus Day (Monday 10/14) – Weather permitting \nCOST: No entry fee. Activities and food priced individually. PYO activities are priced by the pound. \n\n\nReservations are not required.\n\n\n\nNo dogs. Thank you!\n\nHighlights\n\nPick-Your-Own Apples: Enjoy healthy and delicious apples that are locally-grown.  No admission fee is required to access our apple orchard but\, you must check in at our farm market prior to picking. Apples are priced by the pound. We take great pride in our farm – please be respectful while visiting. \nPick-Your-Own Pumpkins: Grab a wheelbarrow and take a scenic walk to our fields to pick your own pumpkin. No admission fee is required to access our pumpkin patch. Pumpkins are priced by the pound. Wheelbarrows are available for walking to the pumpkin patch or take a hayride to pumpkins and apples (fee applies). \nCorn Maze & Attractions: 9-acres of fun that the kids will love! Put on your comfortable walking shoes and venture into our corn maze! It takes an average of 45 minutes to an hour complete. If kids surrender\, just take an ‘easy’ exit! Each year\, our Corn Maze features a different design. \nFood & Drink: James on Main* will serve their award-winning BBQ each day from 11am to 4pm (hours subject to change) and Czig Meister Brewing Company* will sell and sample their local craft beers and hard Czeltzers from 12pm until closing. These award-winning spirits are a neighborhood favorite! \n* Subject to change \nVendors: Each October weekend\, we feature a variety of vendors selling handmade items and goodies.
