2018 Corn Maze
Update, December 2018: Thank you to all who ventured into our corn maze! Together we have raised $2,678.50 for Tomorrows Children’s Fund!
Each year, our Corn Maze features a different design. This year’s theme was “Brighten Someone’s Day!”
Donaldson Farms is pleased to share that $1 from every entry into our corn maze this season will be donated to Tomorrows Children’s Fund! Our family and staff have selected this caring and encouraging organization as the inspiration of this year’s theme in honor and support of so many friends and local families that have had their children hospitalized, in treatment and battling many illnesses.
We are so excited to announce that Anya L. of Chester, NJ is our 2018 Corn Maze Design Contest winner! This Fall season her inspiring artwork will be incorporated into our nine acre corn maze which will spotlight the importance of ‘Tomorrows Children’s Fund’ (TCF).
It was very difficult for our farm family to select the winning entry – we received so many creative and uplifting drawings! Anya’s design and story very much represented the theme of ‘Brightens Someone’s Day!’ The description that accompanied Anya’s entry read “This is Anya with a sunflower behind her (just like the ones she saw in your field last summer). She is holding the word hope and there is a butterfly. The butterfly was the theme we used during her transplant to symbolize the metamorphosis Anya’s body was undergoing. The H in hope connects to the hand for an early exit.”
Anya was diagnosed with leukemia in kindergarten, and in third grade relapsed. Her only chance of survival was a bone marrow transplant. Miraculously, she received a transplant from an anonymous donor and is doing well today! We’ve learned that her family garnered much support from TCF. We are excited to reconnect the two with this unique and fun project! Stay tuned for the final design coming later in the season. Congratulations, Anya! A very big Thank You to all who entered – we will display your fantastic entries in and around our farm market soon!

In addition to our direct financial aid programs, TCF also offers an array of activities, events, outings, special guests and parties, designed to provide our young patients with a brighter tomorrow. 2017 Corn Maze
Last year’s theme is a “Salute to our Military.” Join us this year as we celebrate those who serve. $1 from every corn maze ticket purchased this season will benefit Welcome Home Vets of NJ!
Welcome Home Vets of New Jersey is an entirely volunteer, nonprofit organization dedicated to helping our service men and women overcome obstacles in their return to civilian life. America asked these stalwart men and women to possibly die in it’s defense and yet, when they return home, the support provided is often inadequate. We strive to provide former service members from all conflict eras, legal assistance as well as help with access to medical services, housing and jobs.

The 2017 design features the Statue of Liberty. Visitors celebrated this iconic landmark, freedom, and our country’s history.
- Statue of Liberty National Monument – “The Statue of Liberty Enlightening the World” was a gift of friendship from the people of France to the United States and is recognized as a universal symbol of freedom and democracy. The Statue of Liberty was dedicated on October 28, 1886. It was designated as a National Monument in 1924. Employees of the National Park Service have been caring for the colossal copper statue since 1933
