Do you have a special event coming up? Donaldson Farms hosts special events from late May through the end of October each season. Our farm family offers a range of private party options for events such as birthdays, bridal and baby showers, anniversaries, graduations, corporate events, and family reunions! Contact us to share the details of your special event, and we’ll help you create an experience that your guests will enjoy and remember for years to come. 

Please note: Donaldson Farms is not hosting wedding ceremonies or wedding receptions at this time, however, our staff will be happy to provide a list of local venues that may be a good fit for your special day.

Kids Corral (Small Party Area)

• 2.5 hours include time for set up & clean up
• Up to 24 guests
• 12 x 30 ft. shaded picnic area by sandbox

Party Policies

  • Deposit: There is a $125 non-refundable fee if you choose to cancel your party for reasons other than weather.
  • Inclement Weather: The decision to cancel will be made the morning of your party and an alternate date can be rescheduled.
  • Leave the Farm as You Found the Farm: An additional $125/hour clean-up fee will be charged to your credit card if all personal property and other items in your party area are not removed by the preset end time of your party. Your group must exit the party area at your designated time.
  • BYO Alcohol: Use of alcoholic beverages is allowed but requires a one-day host liquor liability policy. Ask for details.
  • After Hours Fee: An additional $125 fee will be applied if your party is planned to extend past 5:00 pm.
  • Tax: NJ Sales tax will be applied.
  • Health & Safety: Current CDC & NJ Covid-19 Guidelines must be followed.

Party FAQ & Information

A farm party and event guide will be provided to you with full details in the meantime check out the following information.

Who is considered a participant? Anyone who is participating in the planting/picking and/or hayride experience is considered to be a participant.

What if your guest(s) wants to participate in the hayride but not the planting/picking activity? If your party package includes a hayride, the farm tour capacity is approximately 70 riders. A guest does not have to participate in either activity.

Can I bring my own decorations? You may bring your own tablecloths, decorations, balloons, party favors, utensils, etc. We ask that you do not attach decorations to the party tent. The ceiling of our tent is lit with white party lights and the tent is situated against a beautiful farm landscape. Pinattas & Confetti is not permitted.

Party Set Up/Clean Up: Both party packages include time to set up and clean up. A dedicated farm staff hostess will assist you, but you are responsible for clean up. All parties are responsible for placing trash in the provided receptacles. Please leave the party area as you found it. A $125 cleaning fee will be added if our staff is required to clean up after you leave. We appreciate your cooperation.

May we bring our own food? Yes! You may bring your own food, have food delivered to the tent by a local restaurant, or work with a caterer. Please let us know if you would like recommendations.

May we serve alcohol? Yes. Upon request, information will be provided on how to obtain a special one-day event liquor liability insurance policy, which is required.

Does Donaldson Farms provide catering options? Yes, we can provide delicious fresh tossed salads, veggie platters, freshly baked pies, muffins, and baked goods. We will also work with other local restaurants for additional catering options.

Are dogs or pets allowed to attend the party/event? We love animals at Donaldson Farms, but we respectfully ask that you leave your pets at home when you visit. Only service/guide dogs are permitted. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

What is your cancellation policy? If the weather is uncooperative, the decision to cancel your party will be made the morning of the party and an alternate date can be rescheduled. The deposit fee is non-refundable.

Where should we park? You may park on the stone drive located near the tent (ask us for details) for unloading and loading your party items -immediately after that, you will need to relocate your car to our Event Parking Area located to the left of our Farm Market. Please instruct your guests to use our Event Parking Area. Handicapped guests may be dropped off at the party tent. VIEW DIRECTIONS
