Fall Attractions at Donaldson Farms

Fall at Donaldson Farms is a festive and fun time of year with numerous things to do for you and your family or group.

Important COVID Policies

  • Practice social distancing while visiting the farm.
  • Face masks must be worn in our farm market, on our hay rides, and, when unable to practice social distancing, in outdoor areas of the farm
  • Reservations are not required.
  • No dogs. Thank you!

Fall Harvest Weekends

2020 Fall Harvest Weekends begin Saturday, September 26th, and continue every Saturday and Sunday through November 1st and Columbus Day for all your favorite fall activities including hayrides to the apple orchard and pumpkin patch, Indian corn picking, 9-acre corn maze, corn cannon, visits with our ponies, hayrides, freshly-grilled foods, and more.

Farm Market Hours: Monday through Saturday 9am – 6pm, Sundays 9am – 5pm
Fall Harvest Weekend Activity Hours: Saturdays & Sundays 10am – 5pm.
All hours are weather dependent.

Pick-Your-Own Pumpkins & Indian Corn

PYO Pumpkins & Indian Corn

On weekdays, you are welcome to grab a wheelbarrow and walk to our fields to pick your own Pumpkins, Gourds and Indian Corn. On weekends and Columbus Day, you can take a Hayride to the Pumpkin Patch from approximately 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

HOURS: Daily – up to an hour before closing [see current hours]

Hayrides to the Pumpkin Patch and Apple Orchard – Saturdays and Sundays in October 10am – 5pm. Hayrides are $2/pp and children under the ages 4 and under are free. Reservations for hayrides are not required.

Pick-Your-Own Apples

Pick your own apples from the orchard! Apple picking is typically available mid-September through mid-November! Enjoy healthy and delicious apples that are locally-grown.

Ready, set, shoot! Who’s the best shot in your family? Try your aim! $5 for 3 shots

Available October weekends and Columbus Day approximately 10:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. (closed for the season)


Corn Maze

9-acres of fun that the kids will love!

Corn Maze - Hackettstown, NJ

Our 2020 maze is “A Heartfelt Thank You to our Healthcare Workers!” We are also pleased to share that $1 from every corn maze ticket purchased this season will be donated to the American Red Cross – New Jersey Region!

CORN MAZE PRICES: $9/pp | Children 4 years and under FREE

CORN MAZE HOURS: 
Monday through Thursday 9am – 6pm
Friday and Saturday 8am – 6pm

Hayrides

Hayrides - Hackettstown, NJ

Enjoy the exceptional views that fall offers while visiting Donaldson Farms. Don’t forget your camera for a scenic ride at the farm! *Horse drawn wagons are not offered every weekend. Tractor driven hayrides are available every Saturday and Sunday while in season.

Scenic Hayrides:

Raspberries

Pick your own raspberries, typically available through the end of September/early October, or browse our Farm Market for other farm-grown produce, and more! Strawberries will begin in late May/early June 2021.

Duck Races

Duck Races

Sorry! Not available in 2020. Try your hand at old-fashioned pumps and see if you can get your duck to the finish line first.

Bring the kids to the farm to visit with the ponies – and don’t forget your camera!
