With several major national and regional race wins to his name, Connor Ferris is a rising star in the professional karting world. Since the day Connor was born he has been at the race track with his family. His family has a long past in the world of karting, with his grandfather starting karting in the late 1960’s. Days at the track are a family hobby, and Connor’s passion is surely family grown. Connor himself hopped in a kart for the first time in 2008 at the age of 5 at Old Bridge Township Raceway Park in New Jersey. In 2013 after years of perseverance, hard work, and wins on the regional level, Connor got his first national win at New Castle Motorsports Park in Indiana while competing in the World Karting Association Manufacturers Cup (WKA). Connor went on to win 3 national races in the Yamaha Rookie division in 2013.

Connor’s success continued into 2014, where he competed in the World Karting Association and New Jersey Sprint Series (NJSS). Connor racked up 4 feature event wins along with 4 other podium finishes and 6 fast time awards in 10 races. Competing in the NJSS, Connor racked up 17 feature event wins and ended the year with 3 season point championships.

Moving up in class to the IAME Swift Cup, 2015 was another successful year for the rising talent. Connor contested a full season and competed in the World Karting Association and the ultra-competitive Superkarts USA Pro Tour (SKUSA). Highlighting his rookie season was a first place finish in the World Karting Association Manufacturers Cup at Daytona International Speedway and a pole position award at the SKUSA Pro Tour Summer Nationals. Connor wrapped up the season on a high note, taking 2nd place in the WKA points championship.

In 2016, Connor had a stout season of results in his second cadet year, showing his true talents. Connor won at both the World Karting Association Winter Cup and Manufacturers Cup. Connor wrapped up the year in 2nd place nationally for the Winter Cup and 3rd place in the Manufacturers Cup.

In 2017, Connor moved up to the Junior ranks. Connor competed in the SKUSA Pro tour and the WKA Manufacturers Cup. Highlighting the year was a 2nd place finish in the WKA Manufacturers Cup along with three pole positions. For his first year in the Junior ranks the result weren’t bad, but Connor strives for more.

In 2018 Connor is planning to make a run at the WKA Manufacturers Cup National Championship along with one off races at the SKUSA Pro Tour.
